Safety & Quality
To be able to provide you with printed products and services of a constantly high quality, we attach special importance to complying with high standards. The different certification schemes monitor not only the print result and processing of the products, they also assure independent testing of the transparency of the shopping process to guarantee maximum buyer protection. Protecting your data is our priority.
Our production has repeatedly been awarded the prestigious PSO seal. ProcessStandard Offset (PSO) describes a standardised method for the production of printed products with an industry focus, and complies with the international ISO 12647 standard series –
PSO is the single most important standard of the printing industry.
PSO assures print production quality: From data acquisition to the finished printed product. Ugra, the Swiss Center of Competence for Print and Media Technology, performs the certification using suitable test equipment and audit methods.
The growing demand for shorter print runs and fast turnover has driven the printing industry towards digital. This trend is expected to continue. After getting the certificate for its offset printing and post-press workflows, Onlineprinters also had its digital printing processes certified to meet high quality standards across processes.
Onlineprinters has been allowed to carry the FOGRA certificate according to ISO 15311 since June 2019, making the company the first online printer to have all three departments certified.
Onlineprinters uses digital presses from technology leader HP with Indigo technology as well as from other companies for its digital printing operations.
To maintain a high quality standard in printing, not only the image reproduction matters. Other factors such as trimming, folding, stitching and adhesive binding also contribute to creating a top-quality print result. As one of the first print shops in Europe, Onlineprinters has had its postpress processes certified according to ProcessStandard Offset (PSO) in addition to the printing processes.
As one of the first print shops in Europe, we also had our post-press operations certified in 2017 so that the quality control concept also encompasses the production steps after printing such as cutting, folding, stitching, etc.
