Are the PDF invoices legally acceptable?

The invoice is sent in electronic form by e-mail in PDF format. This PDF invoice bears a qualified electronic signature according to Section 14, Par. 3 of UStG (German VAT act). This point is further elucidated in our General Terms and Conditions.

Is the order amount charged to my credit card immediately?

During a credit card order, the value of the merchandise is only reserved on the credit card. The credit card is charged only upon invoicing. In the event of order cancellation, the reservation may remain on your credit card account for up to two weeks and will then be automatically removed by your bank.

Do advance payment orders cause delays?

In Europe, online bank transfers must reach the recipient in 1 bank working day and bank transfers on paper within 2 bank working days. Another 1 to 2 working day(s) should be allowed for our internal booking.

Can I get my order without VAT?

All deliveries within Germany always include 19 % German VAT. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant a reduced VAT rate of 7 % (e.g. for books). Customers outside Germany are invoiced ex VAT provided they enter a valid VAT registration number. Please note that net deliveries can generally be effected only to the country of the registered invoice address.

Do I get my money back after cancellation?

If an order is cancelled, we will reimburse any payment already made to your account. Please use the form "Bank data transfer" in your customer account to let us know the account holder, IBAN and BIC. In case of payment by credit card, reimbursement is not necessary because the credit card is not charged before delivery is effected. The reservation on your credit card is automatically deleted by your bank within two weeks.

How can I get another copy of my invoice?

You can download the respective invoice any time in your customer account under "Order summary". Just click on the invoice number, and select in the following window whether you want to open or save the invoice.

Can I have an invoice changed?

Changing an invoice subsequently to another recipient is not possible. The correction of errors is possible to a limited extent. For this purpose, complete the form under Contact → Accounting. We will then get back to you immediately.

The invoice shows only 1 page although I have uploaded 2 pages?!

The invoice only displays a small preview picture of the 1st page of your uploaded print file. This merely serves as orientation. Further pages need not be considered here.

I have indicated a valid VAT registration number. To which countries can I have deliveries effected?

If your invoice address is not in Germany, and you have entered a VAT registration number valid in the EU, you will be invoiced ex VAT. Please note that, for tax reasons, deliveries can generally be effected only to the country of the registered invoice address.
